One Billion Rising

February 14th is One Billion Rising, this year’s iteration of V-Day, a campaign against sexualized violence founded by the playwright Eve Ensler. The idea of One Billion Rising is basically that people get together and perform a dance called “Break the Chain.”

You can even apparently watch some of the flash mobs from across the world live, and some organizations have recorded their contributions. This is a fun one from Londolozi Game Reserve in South Africa:
